I shot the photo of the silhouette of the small town of Shefr Amr in the Galilee some time ago, when I was working there in the context of the EU-funded programme CIUDAD - Cooperation in Urban Development and Dialogue. I have selected it because it is a typical Arab city and the urban challenges in the Middle East have kept me busy for most of my professional life.I am still quite busy working on some of these challenges.
When I find the time, I publish some thoughts and reflections on the challenges for our built and natural environment on my blog.
